Cub Scout Pack 627 is based in Rancho Bernardo, CA and made up of boys and girls from kindergarten through 5th grade. We meet as a Pack on the first and third Thursdays of the month at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church. The cubs stay busy throughout the year with events including campouts, hiking, kayaking, and volunteering.
While our Pack primarily serves Chaparrel Elementary School, we accept new scouts from throughout the region. If you're searching for a community that fosters adventure, team building, and friendship, then come check us out. New scouts are always welcome!
UPCOMING EVENTS
Cub Scouts is a program withing Scouting America. From kindergarten through the spring of 5th grade, boys and girls are part of a Cub Scout Pack. During the spring of 5th grade, the cub bridges to a Scouts BSA troop, where they will share in challenging adventures and leadership activities until they graduate high school.
Similar to merit badges in Scouts BSA troops, Cub Scouts work with their peers to complete "Adventures" that lead to their rank advancement. Parent involvement is paramount as we guide the scouts through their learning activities and outings. One of the greatest aspects of Cub Scouts is that the entire family is welcome to join the pack events.
If you are new to Scouting, we encourage you to come join us at an event or meeting before signing up.
